Welcome to the official International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 272 website.
IBEW Local 272 represents over 350 members that work at Bruce Mansfield Power Plant in Shippingport, Pennsylvania
along the Ohio River. Please check back soon for more updates. The
IBEW Local 272 union building has moved to 838A Midland Avenue across from the Rite Aid. The June 24th monthly union
meeting will be held at the Union Hall, Knights of Columbus downstairs. Union meetings will be held
at the Shippingport Community Building until further notice. As always, food and refreshments will be provided at the
meetings. Also a 50/50 raffle will be hosted. We would like to see you all there.
Please remember to pay your past union dues up to November 2009.
Letters will be sent to your home as a reminder for members that had forgetten to pay the last month's dues.
Note the new union office to send dues to 838A Midland Ave. Please check your paychecks for proper dues deductions.
